Section 2: Equipment
Duck Duck Goose is a game of people and movement, requiring no physical equipment to play. The only necessary components are the players themselves and a flat surface.
Mandatory Items
- Players: A minimum of three participants is required to start the game. One player acts as the chaser, while at least two players sit in a circle.
- Space: An open area is required for players to form a circle and for the chaser to move around them.
Optional Items
While not required for the standard game, some groups may choose to add optional elements to increase fun or complexity:
- Musical Instrument: A bell, whistle, or music player can be used to signal when the chaser must stop and select a new victim.
- Props: Players may wear hats or headbands to make the "head tapping" mechanic more obvious.
Note: No balls, bats, or other sports equipment are required for this game.
