Cans (Goals): Two matching cylindrical cans/goals, each standing approximately 28 inches (71 cm) tall with a diameter of about 15.75 inches (40 cm). Official Kan Jam cans are made of durable plastic with a weighted or wide base for stability on grass or sand.
Slot: Each can has a rectangular slot cut into the top rim, roughly 9 inches wide by 4 inches tall, through which a disc can pass to score a "Bucket" or "Slam Dunk." The slot always faces the thrower on the opposite end of the field.
Flying Disc: One official flying disc, typically a 175-gram, 10.75-inch (27 cm) diameter disc similar to a regulation Ultimate disc. Softer, lighter "beach" or "mini" discs are common variants for casual or wind-heavy play.
Optional accessories: A carrying/travel bag, a scorecard or portable scoreboard, and stakes or sandbags to anchor cans on windy days or soft/sandy surfaces.
Number of sets: Only one set (two cans, one disc) is required per game; tournament or "round robin" setups may use multiple sets across several fields simultaneously.
