Section 8: Safety Considerations
Safety is paramount when playing Wall Ball, especially since the ball can be hit with significant force against a hard surface. Players should wear appropriate footwear to prevent slipping or injury on the playing court. If playing indoors, ensure there is enough clearance behind the wall to prevent accidental injury from rebounding balls.
Eyewear is highly recommended, particularly for younger players or those playing in environments where the ball might bounce unpredictably. Players should be aware of their surroundings and avoid hitting the ball towards other people, pets, or fragile objects. If a player feels pain in their eyes or face after being hit by the ball, they should stop play immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.
