Section 4: Players & Officials
Wall Ball is flexible regarding team composition, allowing for singles, doubles, or teams of three to five players. In a casual setting, two people can play against each other in singles format. For more competitive matches, teams of three or four are common, with players rotating positions after each point.
Unlike formal sports like basketball or soccer, Wall Ball is often self-officiated in casual play. Players are expected to call their own faults and ensure fair play. In organized leagues or tournaments, a referee may be present to resolve disputes regarding ball placement, violations, and scoring.
