Section 8: Safety Considerations
Athlete protection is the controlling principle of the WCT8 regulations and companion Code of Conduct. Athletes must inspect and adapt to the Quad, report hazards, maintain their own physical readiness, and use only permitted protective equipment. Referees may inspect equipment, stop competition for medical or technical incidents, and sanction dangerous conduct. WCT8's Code of Conduct applies at sanctioned venues, training and accreditation areas, official hospitality and media spaces, and relevant participant conduct online or away from the venue.
