Why people argue about this
People often think that if a player is left with just one die in palifico, they can't change the number on it once set — meaning all 1s are stuck as 1s until the end of the round. Actually, while the face value stays fixed, players can still increase the quantity by rolling additional dice to match or exceed their initial count, even if that means using more 1s than before.
