8.4 Red Flag and Race Suspension — Sporting Regulations, Article B5.14

When red flags are shown, overtaking is forbidden, the Pit Lane exit is closed, and all cars must proceed slowly into the Pit Lane (Article B5.14.2). If the session cannot be resumed, results are taken at the end of the penultimate lap before the lap during which the suspension signal was given.
