Section 2: The Deck

A standard pack of 52 playing cards is used; jokers are discarded (Rule 1.3.a).; The four suits are considered equal (Rule 1.3.b).; Card rank and value run K–Q–J–10 (each worth 10), then 9 through Ace worth their pip value down to 1 for the Ace (Rule 1.3.c).
